Please Join Camelot Foster Care for Foster Parent Training on Saturdays from 9:30-3:30 starting on October 8th, 2011 through the month until November 5th. We will provide snacks and beverages. Training is free and is offered at the Holiday Inn Express on Alcoa Highway across form Tyson McGhee. We want to share with you more info about foster care and adoption the first class on Oct. 8th. If you decide to continue the training we will provide all the necessary information on becoming an approved foster home in Tennessee.

Hey everyone,
Most of you know that my foster boys have gone home. They where with us for 3 months. They are missed, but I know they are in awesome hands, and I speak with them often. SO I am not worried a bit about them. I am happy I was able to be a small part in their care and reunification.
I am in the process of switching over from one foster group to another. I am coming home to Blount County DCS. We will be taking in newborn to age 6 months for a little while. I am ready for a little baby for a bit, and so is the rest of the family. Pray God’s will be done, and we can make a large difference in the lives of these kids.
In the mean time, the shop is doing better. Word is spreading that we are here. People are starting to notice the sign. Traffic is slowly picking up. We are not making a killing or anything, but the bills are getting paid, with enough extra to go to the Auctions at http://www.terrysauction.com/ on Saturday nights. I don’t have as much as I would like to have to reinvest in the business, but all will come in due time.
School started this week. We are still home schooling. Well sorta. I guess we store school.??. It has been such a blessing to be able to have all of the kids here at the shop with us. It is so freeing having a career where you actually get paid to spend the day with your family and kids. How awesome is that. We do their lessons right here at the shop. They are all making nice leaps this year. I am very pleased thus far. I think it is going to be a very successful year.
As to the house, well we are still going in rounds between insurance agents, contractors, roofers etc. Personally I am ready to have it all done and taken care of already so I can get that place sold and move to Friendsville. That may or may not happen in the very near future tho. It just depends on how long everything takes to work through. God knows what he is doing tho, and he has a plan. Pray his will be done.
It is 2:30am. I think it is high time to head home. I am beyond exhausted. I have to be up early in the morning. Keep us in your prayers. As always, thank you for your love, prayers and support.
